“The colour, rather than the formations inspire me most. Colour always takes me on a sensory journey. Spontaneous moments create an abstract response to colour, texture and forms that appear on the canvas.

Of late, the back to basics and raw appeal of recycled timbers, paling fences have inspired me to create some perfect pieces to suit a modern northern beaches house to a contemporary inner city apartment.

Whilst painting this series, I visualised an open space with loads of light perched overlooking the ever changing water wonderland and a muted inner city palette.”
